Returns Policy

This policy only applies to online purchases. It does not cover in-store purchases.

We hope you cherish your Second Hand Jewellers purchase, but if you are dissatisfied with it or it doesn't match your expectations, you can return it to us. Within 14 days of the date of purchase, items must be returned in the same condition they were received and in the original packing. We can give you a complete refund of the amount you paid.

Please be aware that if a product is personalised or resized by a third party, your warranty will be void and you won't be eligible for a full refund if you decide to return the item.

We won't be held accountable for

any alterations created controlled by external parties

Please get in touch with us right away if there are any issues with your order.

Earrings cannot be returned once the hygiene seal has been broken.

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights.

What delivery method should I use to return an item?

It is advised that you return the item(s) via an insured and tracked/signed for method.  Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any items that get lost in transit. 

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Please give all refunds up to 5 working days to complete following receipt. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us on 0121 272 8515 if you haven't heard back from us regarding your refund within 7 working days of us receiving your item(s).

How long do I have to return an item i've purchased?

Please make sure you return your item(s) within 14 days of your purchase.

Items returned after this period are subject to our right to refuse a refund. A copy of your invoice followed by any product tags, booklets, certificates etc, must be included with in your return. 

What if my item has a fault after the 14 day return period?

Please send the item to Second Hand Jewellery, 103-104 Vyse Street, Hockley, Birmingham, B18 6LP if your goods develops a fault after the 14-day return period has passed. Upon evaluation, a repair will be scheduled for your item. The Customer Care staff will get in touch with you as soon as we get an estimate for charges so you can approve and pay or have the item returned undone if the item is determined to be accidental damage or wear and tear.

Can I return earrings?

Earrings for pierced ears cannot be returned for hygienic reasons unless they are defective or still in their original unopened packaging.

Can I get a refund on personalised or engraved jewellery

Jewellery that has been worn, personalised, or altered is not eligible for return. Your statutory rights are unaffected by this.

In some cases, we are able to offer a 50% return on jewellery that has been engraved using the engraving service of Second Hand Jewellers. Please take note that it is your responsibility as the buyer to supply a message that is accurate and correctly worded for us to engrave.
